This is very convincing! I thought it was genuine claymation at first, until I watched it for longer and noticed the clay deforming in spots that weren't moving. Then I remembered there are tags and now I feel a little silly. Very cool!

DAMN I guess I have to try colored pencils on cardboard some time. I had no idea it could look so good.

The effect is amazing, since you don't have to make sure the base colouring is covering everything. :D I recommend to first fill in shadows and then just put colours on for the highlights as a start. :D It's a good way to get used to the material AND the results never fail to look neat.

I need me a really good crayon brush like that. This looks like it was very fun and satisfying to draw. :) I like the 3D shape of his boots and the funny beetle on the tree :)

What do you use for that slight noisy texture overlayed on the piece?

Is this a scanned picture or is it all digital? I'm really curious how you did the coloring so the outline has bits of splotches of color mixed in. Especially around his back foot. It looks really neat :)
